This fall, a healthcare technologies trade mission organized by the Department of Commerce will be going to Istanbul, Turkey; Amman, Jordan; and Cairo, Egypt. The mission will begin in Istanbul on October 24 and end in Cairo on November 1. Those three markets were chosen because of their proven sales potentials in the healthcare technologies industry. They hold exciting opportunities for U.S. manufacturers of medical equipment wishing to launch or expand their business overseas. During the missions, representatives from participating U.S. companies will meet face to face with potential distributors and agents, facility administrators, and purchasing managers. They also will gain market access and results through prescreened appointments tailored to their company’s individual needs. Companies have the option of participating in all three countries or just one. To fully reap the rewards from the trade mission, participants are encouraged to sign up to visit at least two countries. For more information on the trade mission, visit the trade mission Web site or contact Lisa Huot at tel.: (202) 482-2796, e-mail: lisa.huot@mail.doc.gov.
