Version 1.02 of the E-Grant program was emailed to each office.  This version corrects several important issues that were discovered with the application.  The issues are outlined below.

  • The first intention line was reading 'agreement' instead of 'certification'.
  • The word templates were checked and corrected where necessary.
  • The menu names were rechecked and made consistent where necessary.

Version 1.01 of the E-Grant was shipped to each office.  If you have already installed version 1.00 (initial blue CD) DO NOT INSTALL VERSION 1.01 without calling and consulting with one of the service people below.  Failure to comply may result in a loss of data.

If you have not installed Version 1.00 yet, you may install version 1.01 and disregard version 1.00 completely.  To install version 1.01 start the Windows Explorer, navigate to Version 1.01's CD and left-double click on Step 3 (Step 3.bat).  Then follow the instructions that were sent to you with version 1.00.

Another issue that was discovered concerns the installation of the E-Grant program on a computer where WINDOT was also installed.  If the WINDOT program was installed on your Federal OPS computer or a computer you are trying to install the E-Grant program you may receive installation errors.  For the Federal OPS computer you must reinstall the Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 (included on the E-Grant Version 1.01 CD).

For help with installation issues, please contact  Todd DelVecchio (617) 494-2122.
