Employment opportunities within the Agricultural Research Service are many and challenging. Our permanent positions are filled by scientists with educational backgrounds in the life, physical, and engineering sciences. Postdoctoral Research Associates -- Includes temporary (usually up to 2 years in duration) postdoctoral research associate positions for Ph.D. graduates in the life, physical, and engineering sciences.  Preference is given to candidates whose degree has been received within the last 4 years.  Citizenship restrictions apply.
