DVD Association

LandView IV received a 2001 DVD-ROM Excellence award by the DVD Association at its annual conference in February 2001.

The purpose of the DVD Excellence Award is to recognize skill, creativity and craftsmanship in various aspects of DVD creation, authoring and publication. The overall quality of a finished DVD-Video, DVD-ROM or WebDVD title is also evaluated, but it is important to note that the quality or the popularity of the content on the disc is not being judged. Instead, the skills used in the creation of each title are evaluated and scored by an independent panel of DVD experts, based upon objective criteria established prior to judging. The judges evaluate each item using the criteria and assign a score, up to a maximum of 100 points. All entries receiving an average total score of 90 points or above will earn a DVD Excellence Award.
