The New York Regional Office is located in New York City and covers federal workers (FECA) and Longshoremen employed in New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Responsibility for the Office is held by the Regional Director.

The New York Regional Director is also responsible for the administration of the Federal Employees' Compensation Act and Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act in the Boston District Office. The Boston District Office (FECA) covers federal workers  and Longshoremen employed in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
