Foreign Service employees and family members coping with personal and community crises in the face of the unique challenges associated with service overseas require a strong support system. Guidance and assistance is available from FLO's Crisis Management and Support Services Officer and members of the FLO support staff. All communications are confidential. FLO's Crisis Management and Support Services staff has developed resources and expertise in supporting Foreign Service families, specifically in the areas of Inter-country Adoption, Contingency Planning, the Death of a Foreign Service Employee or Family Member, Elder Care Issues, Support for Foreign Born Spouses, Family Members Not On Employee's Official Travel Orders (Members of Household), Expeditious Naturalization, Post Evacuations, Divorce, Separations, and Support for Families Experiencing an Unaccompanied Tour.
