Veterans Technology Services (VETS)
- The VETS GWAC is a small business set-aside contract for service-disabled veteran-owned (SDVO) small technology firms. The VETS GWAC features a period of performance from February 2, 2007 to February 1, 2012 with one, five-year option. In addition, the GWAC has a $5 billion program ceiling, two functional scope areas including Systems Operations & Maintenance and Information Systems Engineering. Also, all ordering procedures are based on Fair Opportunity (FAR 16.505). The VETS GWAC assists in meeting the 3% goal for contracting with service-disabled veteran-owned firms. The VETS contracts are easy to use, pre-competed, and they have a short procurement lead time. Federal buyers who wish to use the VETS GWAC must receive training and be granted a delegation of ordering authority prior to issuing task orders.
