UCP 600 and Global Trade Finance
Raleigh, North Carolina
This seminar, organized by the U.S. Export Assistance Center in Raleigh, North Carolina, will offer expert instruction covering a variety of global trade finance issues. The seminar will highlight Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits (International Chamber of Commerce Publication No. 600), also known as UCP 600. That publication contains the upcoming changes to letters of credit that are scheduled to come into force on July 1, 2007. The registration fee is $99.00 per person and includes all seminar materials, refreshments, and lunch. Rebuild Iraq 2007
Amman, Jordan
In 2006, this event attracted more than 1,000 exhibitors from 48 countries and more than 13,000 trade visitors, including 4,000 Iraqis. About 71 percent of the exhibitors made sales during the show. The leading industry sectors that will be at the show include building and construction, electricity, water resources, oil and gas, health care, and information and communications technology. Intellectual Property Rights in China

Malaysia’s manufacturing sector is forecasted to grow at an average rate of 6.7 percent per year, with opportunities in areas such as metalworking, machine tools, computer-aided design and manufacturing, metrology, mold and die, and other related technologies. This annual show focuses on those industries. In 2006, the show attracted more than 20,000 trade visitors and had more than 1,200 exhibitors.
