2	Please provide a short description of the environmental problem or issue that you propose to address.	LEED certification for green buildings - site proposes reaching "certified" level by end of renewal period.
3	Why is this an important environmental issue?	Site continues to move from manufacturing facility toward more of a Corporate headquarters. It is suspected that all manufacturing will end at the site in the next couple of years. Thus, the environmental impacts associated with maintenance of the buildings and administrative functions are becoming more important. Site is focusing on building issues like green cleaning, biodegrable cafeteria utinsels, plates, etc., environmentally preferable carpeting, and environmentally preferable paints.
4	Please provide a description of the activities you intend to conduct.	Develop standards and install preferable carpet. Switch to green janitorial products and bathroom products. Investigate switching to biodegradable cafeteria items. Continue water and energy reduction projects. Develop a commuting program.
