C.1.bBriefly describe how you achieved improvements for this aspect or, if relevant, any circumstances that delayed progress.
Projects to improve Resin Filtration process and improvements to Solvent Recovery units to improve capability and efficiency. Since 2001 the production increased by a factor of 2.24 which effected expected waste reduction. Dupont Front Royal made significant hazardous waste reductions however due to the aggressive commitment did not meet expected reductions. DuPont continues to make improvements as a part of continuous improvement efforts. Waste reduction continues to be a core value for the DuPont Corporation.

C.3.bBriefly describe how you achieved improvements for this aspect or, if relevant, any circumstances that delayed progress.
Paint Concentrate is a still bottom waste generated from solvent distillation units normally disposed of as a hazardous waste. The decrease in sales of the paint concentrate still bottom waste is the result of one of our primary customers no longer use paint concentrate in their process. The expected increase in sales from new potential customers has not materialized at the expected rate. DuPont still expects these potential customers to begin using paint concentrate in their processes. There are several potential new customers identified with the help of DuPont engineering that could increase paint concentrate requirements substantially. DuPont plans to include paint concentrate as a committment in the 2006 renewal application.

C.4.bBriefly describe how you achieved improvements for this aspect or, if relevant, any circumstances that delayed progress.
By completing an one time project to improve insulation effectiveness and improving heating & cooling system for the peroxiode storage building in the Resin manufacturing area. Annual reductions are as follows: Heating 54% (338,078 btu's to 154,000 btu's) Cooling 55% ( 765,600 btu's to 342,000 btu's). In 2003 the btu's were determined by measured current used for the heating and cooling units. 2004 & 2005 usage is estimtated based on 2003 improvements.

DuPont Virginia Website (http://www.dupont.com/virginia/front/front.html), continued participation in the Willow Brook-Crooked Run Watershed initiative in Warren County and participation in the Warren County Business Partnership. We held a media event when Front Royal was awarded the E-4 certification from the Virginia DEQ. The event was covered in 3 local newspaper and was communicted on Website mentioned above. Other environmental discussions during participation in local organizations such as Warren County Chambers of Commerce (plant tours) and Randolf Macon Academy interactions including plant tours.

D.2Please indicate which of the following methods your facility plans to use to make its Performance Track Annual Performance Report available to the public.
