ACTION: Interim rule; extension of effective date. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: The General Services Administration (GSA) is extending Federal Property Management Regulations provisions regarding records management. DATES: The extension is effective December 31, 1998. The interim rule published August 7, 1996 was effective from August 8, 1996 through December 31, 1997. A supplement published on October 31, 1998 extended the period of effectiveness through December 31, 1998. The period of effectiveness is further extended through December 31, 1999. A supplement published in the Federal Register on October 31, 1997, 62 FR [[Page 2858]] 58922, extended the expiration date through December 31, 1998. This supplement further extends the expiration date through December 31, 1999.
