Type of Review: Reinstatement, without change, of a previously approved collection for which approval has expired. Abstract: The information collected on VA Form 28-1905 ensures that veterans or other eligible persons do not receive benefits for periods when they did not actually begin to participate in any rehabilitation or special restorative or specialized vocational training program. The information is used by VA to establish the correct beginning and ending dates for the education, training, or other rehabilitation services and the correct rates for subsistence allowance payments. An agency may not conduct or sponsor, and a person is not required to respond to a collection of information unless it displays a currently valid OMB control number. The Federal Register Notice with a 60-day comment period soliciting comments on this collection of information was published on June 22, 1999, at pages 20058-20059.
