The hatch house is the location where we incubate the eggs over the wintertime and raise the young Atlantic salmon and lake trout (fry) in small tanks. The eggs hatch, and the “small fry” emerge. Fry have a yolk sac in which they absorb for energy before they eat on their own.

Once the fish get large enough we move them outside where there is more room to swim around. We can go outside and see the B series Raceways now.
