Tonnage numbers for recycleable materials, by stream, are provided by the recycle vendor to the facility on a monthly basis. Ethicon, in it's capacity as a member of the community, strives to be involved in community activities at both a company and personal level. As such, potential community environmental concerns which have been identified and are not associated with Ethicon activities primarily include river cleanup and waste management issues. Members of facility management sit on various city boards. For the issues of river clean up and waste management, members of management sit on the Keep San Angelo Beautiful (KSAB) city board. Additionally the facility supports community activities including Earth Day, and other city activities.
No environmental community concerns identified.
