U.S. Census Bureau and U.S. General Services Administration
officials will be joined by federal and state dignitaries for a topping
off ceremony marking the halfway point of completion of the new
1.5 million sq. ft. Census Bureau headquarters – scheduled to
be finished Fall 2006. The milestone event will include the raising
of the final steel beam into place on the new Census Bureau headquarters
building.
