Census Bureau Audio Briefing on Migration Reports
- What:
- The U.S. Census Bureau will brief reporters on a series of Census 2000 special reports on domestic migration. The reports will be made available, on an embargoed basis, to reporters on Monday, Aug. 4. Public release is Wednesday, Aug. 6, at 12 a.m. EDT. The four reports cover migration across regions, states, and metropolitan and nonmetropolitan areas. Their titles are: Domestic Migration Across Regions, Divisions, and States: 1995 to 2000 State-to-State Migration Flows: 1995 to 2000 Migration and Geographic Mobility in Metropolitan and Nonmetropolitan America: 1995 to 2000 Internal Migration of the Older Population: 1995 to 2000
