A photo opportunity and question-and-answer period for the news media will follow from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. EDT. More than half a million temporary workers are being hired for the non-response follow-up phase of the census. They will undergo either three days or five evenings of enumerator training, whichever is more convenient.
