Mark your calendar now for the first national conference on medical care in domestic violence (MCDV2002) to be held April 18-20, 2002, at the Le Meridien Hotel, Dallas, TX. The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality will cosponsor the conference with the Parkland Foundation of Dallas and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. The focus of the conference will be on the current state of research and clinical experience in providing medical and psychiatric care to survivors of domestic violence.

The program is designed for physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians assistants, psychologists, social workers, and other allied health care professionals interested in domestic violence.
