ACTION: Announcement of availability of funds and request for applications to carry out the functions of a National Eldercare Locator. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: The Administration on Aging (AoA) announces that under this program announcement it will hold a competition for a cooperative agreement award for a National Eldercare Locator. The deadline date for the submission of applications is August 26, 1998. Public and/or nonprofit agencies, organizations, and institutions are eligible to apply under this program announcement. To be considered for funding, however, applicants must demonstrate a proven track record of experience in conducting national hotlines and dealing with the network of State and Area Agencies on Aging and State and Area Information and Referral Services. Coalitions of organizations are encouraged.
