The Secretarial duty to jointly submit a report to each House of the Congress under section 401(a)(5)(B) is reserved to the Secretary. A copy of that memorandum is annexed hereto as an Appendix. Herman Subject: Delegation of Authority to the Assistant Secretary for Pension and Welfare Benefits Effective immediately, the Assistant Secretary for Pension and Welfare Benefits is hereby delegated authority and assigned responsibility for carrying out programs and activities to be performed by the Secretary of Labor under section 401 of the Child Support Performance and Incentive Act of 1998 (Pub. L. 105-200), including all attendant administrative duties necessary for carrying out such programs and activities.
