Survey-Related

Computer and Internet Use in the United States: 2003 — Information on households with computers and Internet connections — nationally, regionally and by state. Specifically, the demographics of who’s online and how they’re using their computers and the Internet. (Scheduled for release on Oct. 27.)

Current Population Survey Data Collection Announcement — In November, Census Bureau field representatives will begin visiting randomly selected households for the Current Population Survey’s update of employment data. (Tentatively scheduled for release late-October.)

Population Profile of the United States: Dynamic Version — A publication, available only on the Internet, that will be updated as new research is released. Individual chapters on a variety of demographic, housing and economic topics based on population estimates, the Current Population Survey, the Survey of Income and Program Participation and the American Housing Survey. Most data are at the national level, with graphics and tables containing a limited amount of data at the state, county and city levels. (Tentatively scheduled for release late-October.)

2002 Economic Census: Subject Series — The first of 57 reports for several industry sectors – all at the national level – are now being issued on a flow basis. These reports include information such as product shipments by contributing industries. All 883 geographic area series reports and 651 industry reports have been published. Facts for Features

The Holiday Season — Data from the Census Bureau’s demographic and economic subject areas pertaining to the end-of-the-year holidays. (Tentatively scheduled for release late-October.)
