We the People: Asians in the United States — A demographic and socioeconomic statistical portrait of the nation’s Asian population as a whole, as well as of the 11 largest Asian groups, such as Asian Indian, Cambodian and Japanese. This publication is one in a series of nine. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of Dec. 12.)

We the People: Hispanics in the United States — Part of a series of Census 2000 special reports, presenting data on demographic, social and economic characteristics of specific Hispanic groups. This report also provides a portrait of the Hispanic-origin population as a whole. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of Dec. 12.)

We the People: Aging in the United States — Part of a series of Census 2000 special reports, presenting data on demographic, social and economic characteristics of different subgroups of the older population. This report also provides a portrait of the 65 and older population as a whole. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of Dec. 12.)

Facts for Features: Valentine’s Day — Statistical information from the Census Bureau’s demographic and economic subject areas pertaining to Valentine’s Day 2005. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of Dec. 12.)

National, State and Puerto Rico Population Estimates: 2004 — Internet tables showing July 1, 2004, population estimates and components of change for the nation, states and Puerto Rico. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of Dec. 19.)

New Year’s Day Population: 2005 — Estimated U.S. population as of Jan. 1, 2005. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of Dec. 19.)

Data Collection in January for Quarterly Consumer Expenditure Survey — In January, Census Bureau interviewers will contact a national sample of randomly selected households in a survey that measures how much Americans spend on groceries, clothing, health care and housing. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of Dec. 19.)

The Foreign-Born Population in the United States: 2004 — National-level tabulations on this population group by characteristics such as citizenship status, age, year of entry, poverty status and world region of birth. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of Jan. 2.)

Facts for Features: Women’s History Month — Statistical information from the Census Bureau’s demographic subject areas on women, who we celebrate in March. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of Jan. 2.)

Facts for Features: St. Patrick’s Day and Irish-American Heritage Month — Statistical information from the Census Bureau’s demographic and economic subject areas pertaining to St. Patrick’s Day 2005 and Americans of Irish ancestry. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of Jan. 2.)
