Working at Home: 2000 — National tabulations on home-based workers by age, sex, educational attainment, race and Hispanic origin, occupation, disability status and earnings. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of Sept. 26.)

Disability and American Families: 2000 — Information on the prevalence of disabilities in families at the national, regional and state levels, with additional data on family income, employment status of the family householder and poverty status of families with a member who has a disability. (Tentatively schedule for release the week of Sept. 26.)

Facts for Features: National Adoption Month — Statistical information from the Census Bureau’s demographic subject areas on the number and characteristics of adopted children. (Scheduled for release on Sept. 20.)

Estimates of State and County Population by Age, Sex, Race and Hispanic Origin:

— Population estimates by these demographic characteristics for the nation’s states and 3,141 counties. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of Sept. 26.)

Facts for Features: American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month (November) — Statistics from the Census Bureau’s demographic subject areas on the nation’s American Indian and Alaska native population, whom we celebrate in November. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of Sept. 26.)

Facts for Features: Veterans Day — Statistics from the Census Bureau’s demographic subject areas in honor of the nation’s military veterans. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of Sept. 26.)

Next Wave of Interviewing in Survey of Income and Program Participation — In October, interviewers will visit a national sample of randomly selected households to ask about program participation, health insurance coverage, employment, income and other topics. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of Sept. 26.)

Interviewing for Consumer Expenditure Survey — Data about how much Americans spend on groceries, clothing, health care and housing will be collected in October from a national sample of randomly selected households for the Consumer Expenditure Survey. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of Sept. 26.)

Facts for Features: Thanksgiving Day — Statistics from the Census Bureau’s demographic and economic subject areas pertaining to Thanksgiving. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of Sept. 26.)

2002 Economic Census of Island Areas: Guam — Number of establishments, employees, shipments, revenue and payroll as of calendar year 2002. This 2002 Economic Census report is the first use of North American Industry Classification System codes in an economic ce nsus of the island areas. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of Sept. 19.)

2002 Economic Census: Industry Series — Industry reports (e.g., the manufacture of pet foods, tortillas and roasted nuts) from the 2002 Economic Census. National-level information on number of employees, payroll, and sales and receipts, or value of shipments. Released on a flow basis at <http://www.census.gov/econ/census02/guide/INDSUMM.HTM>.

2002 Vehicle Inventory and Use Survey — State reports with information on fuel efficiency, annual mileage, primary range of operation, permanent equipment and other physical and operational characteristics. Data are for pickup trucks, SUVs, minivans, all other single-unit trucks and truck-tractors. Issued on a flow basis at <http://www.census.gov/svsd/www/02vehinv.html>.
