Working at Home: 2000 — National tabulations on home-based workers by age, sex, educational attainment, race and Hispanic origin, occupation, disability status and earnings. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of Sept. 5.)

Disability and American Families: 2000 — Information on the prevalence of disabilities in families at the national, regional and state levels, with additional data on family income, employment status of the family householder and the poverty status of families with a member who has a disability. (Tentatively schedule for release the week of Sept. 26.)

 

Survey-Related

Income, Poverty, Health Insurance Coverage and American Community Survey: 2003 — On Aug. 26, the Census Bureau will hold a news conference to release the consolidated report on 2003 money income, poverty and health insurance coverage for the nation, which is based on the Current Population Survey. Simultaneously, the Census Bureau will release income and poverty data from the 2003 American Community Survey for states and other areas with populations of 250,000 or more. (Scheduled for release on Aug. 26.)

Facts for Features: Halloween — Statistical information from the Census Bureau’s demographic and economic subject areas geared to Halloween 2004. (Scheduled for release on Aug. 31.)

Estimates of State and County Population by Age, Sex, Race and Hispanic Origin:
July 1, 2003
— Population estimates by these demographic characteristics for the nation’s states and 3,141 counties. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of Sept. 5.)

America’s Families and Living Arrangements: March 2003 — Current Population Survey data on trends in household and family composition, living arrangements, marital status of adults and characteristics of unmarried-couple households. Includes first-ever data on stay-at-home parents. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of Sept. 12.)

2002 Economic Census of Island Areas: Guam — Number of establishments, employees, shipments, revenue and payroll as of calendar year 2002. This is the first use of North American Industry Classification System codes in an economic census of the island areas. (Tentatively scheduled for release the week of Aug. 22.)

2002 Economic Census: Industry Series Reports — Industry reports (examples: the manufacture of pet foods, tortillas and roasted nuts). National-level information on number of employees, payroll, and sales and receipts or value of shipments. Released on a flow basis at <http://www.census.gov/econ/census02/guide/INDSUMM.HTM>.

2002 Vehicle Inventory and Use Survey — State reports with information on fuel efficiency, annual mileage, primary range of operation, permanent equipment and other physical and operational characteristics. Data are for pickup trucks, SUVs, minivans, all other single-unit trucks and truck-tractors. Issued on a flow basis at <http://www.census.gov/svsd/www/02vehinv.html>.
