From: Gerard J. Horner
               Chief, Automated Export System Branch

Subject: The U.S. Census Bureau, Foreign Trade Division and
               AES Call Center

On June 7, 2005 the U.S. Census Bureau, Foreign Trade Division (FTD)
and the Automated Export System (AES) will launch a new service for
the trade community. The FTD Call Center will allow the trade to
remember only one phone number for most of the services and support
offered by the U.S. Census Bureau, FTD.
The number to dial is 1-800-549-0595. Using this number the trade
will be able to reach AES Reps, Commodity Analysts and Regulations
Specialists. With this service the FTD expects to satisfy the
               increasing demand for customer support.
Hours of operation of the Call Center:
For AES Support 7:30AM to 6:00PM EST
For Regulations and Commodity Support 8:00AM to 5:30PM EST

table will help you determine what is the best option for
