This on-line publication provides a brief description of Peripheral Neuropathy as well as treatment, prognosis and research. Peripheral neuropathy is a common neurological disorder resulting from damage to the peripheral nerves. It may be caused by diseases of the nerves or as the result of systemic illnesses. Can also be caused by trauma and compression.
