Objective:
To determine freeze susceptibility of North American genotypes of Trichinella.

Approach:
Pigs will be infected with N. A. genotype of Trichinella (T1, T2, T4, T5, and T6) and tissues will be collected and stored frozen at a variety of temperatures, digested, and fed to mice to determine infectivity.
