Title: Design of Sustainable Water Supply and Distribution System for Pignon, Haiti
Illinois Institute of Technology students will help design a sustainable water supply and distribution system for the Haitian town of Pignon. Currently Pignon’s 30,000 residents must travel to and from the source to collect water. Together with Pignon’s water committee, students with engineering, architectural, or environmental science backgrounds will help to create a sustainable system of pumping and supplying water to as many people as possible.
