Final Emissions Standards for Locomotives

The Preamble and Regulations for this Final Rule were published in the Federal Register 
on April 16, 1998.  That Federal Register notice is posted here 
(http://www.epa.gov/oms/locomotv.htm) in TXT and PDF format.  
Due to the large size of the notice, both the TXT and PDF versions are posted here 
in three separate files.



REGULATORY SUPPORT DOCUMENT

The Regulatory Support Document (RSD) posted on this site is a revised version of the 
official version posted here in December of 1997.  

The analyses contained in the revised version are unchanged in content from the 
December version.  The revised RSD is posted here in four files:

	locorsd.pdf - an Adobe Acrobat PDF version of the entire body of the RSD

	locoapp.pdf - an Adobe Acrobat PDF version of most of the appendices to the RSD 
	(does not include complete Appendices B, I, or O; users should download locorsd.wk3 
	for the contents of the excluded appendices)

	locorsd.zip - a zipped version of locorsd.wp6, which is a WordPerfect version of the 
	text of the main body of the RSD and some appendices 

	locorsd.wk3 - a Lotus 123 spreadsheet containing data from Appendices B, C, F, I, and O, 
	including the data which are not included in the other files (PDF and WP6); users should 
	read the "READFIRST" page of the spreadsheet for a description of the data
