    All real estate licensees, whether on active or inactive status must renew their licenses by November 30, 2008, regardless of the date of initial licensing. Licenses that are not successfully renewed will be automatically forfeited as of January 1, 2009
  • Re-activating or Restoring a Forfeited License (modified: 10/02/2008)
    If your license is renewed on INACTIVE status, and you wish to change to active status, or if for any reason your license is forfeited on January 1, 2009 (whether you voluntarily did not renew on time, you forgot to renew, your check was returned by the financial institution, etc.) and you wish to restore your license, the table below lists documents and fees which must be submitted to the Licensing Branch. If your license was forfeited before or on January 1, 2009, or if you apply for restoration after December 31, 2009, you must submit a Restoration Application (call 586-3000 to obtain application) and follow the instructions that accompany that application.

  • Real Estate Commission 2008 Renewal Workshops (modified: 10/02/2008)
    The Real Estate Commission’s goal is to make this a successful renewal for the real estate licensees. The renewal workshops are one of the key elements to meet the goal. The workshops provide an opportunity for all real estate licensees, especially brokerage firms, to receive assistance with renewal applications through self-help sessions. Staff will discuss the renewal process, the applications, and red-flag areas with attendees. The workshops will also include a Specialist of the Day to answer condo and other real estate questions not related to licensing renewals. The workshops will begin promptly and will continue until there is no more demand. The open workshops are as follows:
