A primary goal of the Office of Ground Water, Branch of Geophysics (OGW BG) mission is to transfer geophysical knowledge and experience. The goal of this Geophysical Technology Transfer (G2T) section is to provide USGS scientists with web-based resources that will support the development and implementation of earth science studies:

OGW surface, borehole, and water-borne geophysical equipment is available to USGS users through the Office of Ground Water, Branch of Geophysics.
Learn About Scheduled OGW BG Courses and Workshops: |
OGW BG provides formal and informal training to USGS offices and staff. A tentative schedule of courses and workshops is available online. In addition, staff regularly offer formal courses at USGS Water Science Centers or presentations and workshops at regional and national conferences.

Branch Research & Publications: |
The Branch of Geophysics summarizes its research results through USGS reports and fact sheets, as well as journal and proceedings articles.
