Can hotel arrangements be made in GovTrip for invitational travelers?
No, hotel reservations cannot be arranged in GovTrip for any traveler who is not a Government travel cardholder. Lodging facilities require a valid credit card number to hold a reservation. The CBA account is not used for hotel expenses, and no personal credit card information is stored in GovTrip.
How do I modify the lodging rate in GovTrip when I have been approved for actual expense?
Access the "Additional Options" tab and select "Per Diem Entitlements" tab. Select "Edit" and change the affected hotel rate to the amount that has been authorized. Then check the box next to "Actual Lodging". Click on "Save Entitlements". Before stamping this document "Signed" you must upload the approval letter to Documentation/Receipts" under the "Expense" tab.
Access the "Additional Options" and select "Per Diem Entitlements". Select "Edit All" then select "view/edit expense details" and change from "GOVCC" to "Personal". Click on "Save Entitlements".
