Technical Reference Center

TRC- Las Vegas is located in the EPA facility on the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) campus. It is a research library for use by EPA staff, EPA contractors, and other government agencies. Public access is by appointment only.
The ESD-LV Technical Resource Center has been in existence in one form or another since 1966 when it was a part of the U.S. Public Health Service's Southwest Radiological Health Laboratory. Originally, the collection focused on nuclear science. Most of the early reports are still housed in the TRC as well as special one-of-a-kind collections such as the National Eutrophication Study.
The collection has been broadened to include environmental science and specific areas of research performed at the Las Vegas lab facility.
