Description: The Driven Pile Foundation Inspection course was developed to provide a basis for local, regional, or national qualification of driven pile foundation construction inspectors. The course follows recommended FHWA and AASHTO specifications and practices for driven pile construction. This course may be modified to follow local agency specifications and practices.
Presentation of the course is in an interactive format so that the participants are actively involved in the learning experience. A two-hour qualification exam is administered on the third day of the course.
Driven Pile Foundation Inspection: Provide driven pile foundation inspectors with practical knowledge of standard industry practices for the inspection of driven pile foundation construction.
Target Audience: Construction Inspectors who are responsible for or involved in the inspection of driven pile construction.
Course Administration: Course is available through the Regional Certification Groups and directly through the National Highway Institute.
