v. Obron Atlantic Corporation; MD-Both Industries;
Bruno Dachlauer: Carl F. Eckart; and Paul J. E. Rink
One-count indictment
was filed in U.S. District Court in Cleveland, Ohio, charging
Obron Atlantic Corporation of Painesville, Ohio; its former president,
Carl F. Eckart; a member of its board, Bruno Dachlauer; and MD-Both
Industries, a joint venture located in Ashland, Massachusetts;
and a member of its executive committee, Paul J. E. Rink, with
conspiring to fix prices, in violation of Section 1 of the Sherman
Act, of bronze and copper flake, beginning at least as early as
October 1986 and continuing at least until November 1988. Bronze
and copper flake are used in the printing, paint, oil drilling
and defense industries.
