One-count information
was filed in U.S. District Court in Detroit, Michigan, charging
Grow Group, Inc., a New York corporation, with fixing prices,
in violation of Section 1 of the Sherman Act, on perchloroethylene,
a major dry cleaning solvent.

U.S. v. Sharon Brasseaux

Criminal No.: CR93-60010 (W.D. La.)
Two-count indictment
was filed in U.S. District Court in Lafayette, Louisiana, charging
Sharon Brasseaux LeBlanc, an employee of Charles J. Friedman and
Pamela A. Friedman, owners and/or principal operators of Seafood
Incorporated; Seafood Incorporated of Henderson, Louisiana; Acadiana
Fresh Seafood, Inc.; and A.F. Holding Company, as well as the
related company Southern Seafood of Louisiana, Inc., with one
count of perjury, 18 U.S.C. § 1623 and one count of obstruction
of justice, 18 U.S.C. § 1503, in connection with her testimony
before a federal grand jury conducting an investigation to determine,
among other things, whether any person or company engaged in the
business of purchasing, peeling, processing, and selling crawfish,
or their employees, had violated or were violating the Sherman
Act, or other federal criminal laws, in the Western District of
Louisiana and elsewhere.

One-count information
was filed in U.S. District Court in Houston, Texas, charging White
Swan, Inc., a Delaware corporation with its principal office in
Euless, Texas, with rigging bids, in violation of Section 1 of
the Sherman Act, for the award and performance of contracts to
supply wholesale grocery products to certain public school districts
and other public entities located in southeastern Texas.

U.S. v. Barber Dairies,
Inc.
Criminal No.: CR93-PT084-E (N.D. Ala.)
One-count information
was filed in U.S. District Court in Birmingham, Alabama, charging
Barber Dairies, Inc. of Oxford, Alabama, with rigging bids, in
violation of Section 1 of the Sherman Act, for the award and performance
of contracts to supply milk to county and independent school boards
within northeast Alabama, beginning at least as early as sometime
in the early 1980's and continuing thereafter at least through
July 1989.

U.S. v. Oglesby Construction,
Inc.
Criminal No.: 3:93CR730 (N.D. Ohio)
One-count information
was filed in U.S. District Court in Cleveland, Ohio, charging
Oglesby Construction, Inc. of Norwalk, Ohio, with rigging bids,
in violation of Section 1 of the Sherman Act, for certain highway
pavement marking contracts in New York State, beginning at least
as early as March 1990 and continuing at least until March 1991.
Highway pavement marking companies apply reflective material such
as paint, epoxy and thermoplastic to roads and highways to form
stripes, lines and other traffic control indicators.
