*Civil / Highway Engineer (Geotech), GS-810-5/7/9
(Salary range: $34,139 - $63,681 depending upon education and experience)


Administrative
*Contract Specialist, GS-9
(Salary range: $48,108 - $62,546 depending upon education and experience)

Student Career Employment Program (SCEP)
Engineering Student Trainee, GS-899-3 ($12.11 per hour), GS-899-4 ($13.60 per hour), and GS-899-5 ($15.21 per hour) – if selected at the GS-3/4 grade level, these positions have promotion potential to the GS-5 grade level.

Student Temporary Employment Program (STEP)
Administrative and Technical positions – Student Trainee, GS-099-3 ($12.11 per hour) and GS-099-4 ($13.60 per hour) – if selected at the GS-3/4 grade level, these positions have promotion potential to the GS-5 grade level.

Depending upon education and experience students may qualify for higher level positions within the agency. Students appointed under the above programs are eligible to earn annual leave and sick leave. Students appointed under the SCEP are eligible to participate in Federal Employees Health and Life Insurance Programs as well as the Thrift Savings Plan.
