Federal Reserve Releases Industrial Production & Capacity Utilization Data for February

“Today’s production increase is good news for American manufacturers and good news for our nation’s economy. It’s proof positive that America’s economy is rebounding and heading for recovery. President Bush will continue to push his growth agenda so that more jobs are created for Americans. Now, we need Congress to do its part and quickly pass the President’s plan to provide affordable and reliable energy, reduce the lawsuit burden on our economy and make health care costs more affordable.

“To further help grow manufacturing jobs and succeed in a worldwide economy, the Bush administration is working on more than 57 recommendations outlined in the Commerce Department’s Manufacturing report.”
