SECRETARY EVANS TO TRAVEL TO DENVER
Will Address U.S. Mayors, Announce Major Federal Grant for
Denver-Area City
U.S.
Secretary of Commerce Don Evans will visit Denver, Colo. on Monday,
June 9, 2003 and will speak to the 71st Annual U.S. Conference of
Mayors. Evans will discuss the U.S. economy and the Bush Administration’s
economic policies.
Following
his speech, Evans will join U.S. Rep. Bob Beauprez (CO-7) and Aurora,
Colorado Mayor Paul Tauer for a federal grant presentation to the
city of Aurora.
There
will be a media availability following the grant presentation.
