Other names suggested by readers were: Ahjijawk (for the Ojibwe clan in Wisconsin, which is the crane and loon clan), Amazoni, Angelica, Bripeep, Bud, Cyber, Dixie, Elian, Frazier, Gus, Hooper, Hope, Lucky, Mahal (means love and expensive in Filipino), Mary Crane, Pepsi, Rosie (for the beautiful red marking on its head), Sheik (from the parents Shelly and Spike), Thoth (Egyptian God of Wisdom), Tooper, Weber (hatched on the web), Wendel, Whooperlich, Whoopee, Wooper, Whoopi, Whoopie, Whoopman, William (after Shakespeare), and Crazy Legs Johnson.
