For Citizens and Consumers Citizens Get Answers When They Use the Federal Citizen Information Center

"Pueblo" is one name the public uses when referring to the Federal Citizen Information Center (FCIC). Pueblo, Colorado 81009 is where consumers have been writing for over 35 years to get the free Consumer Information Catalog and hundreds of low-cost federal publications on everything from homes and cars to health and financial questions.

But the FCIC is more than "Pueblo" and publications. Now consumers can get answers to questions about the federal government and everyday consumer issues through the web, via e-mail, and over the telephone, as well as the old-fashioned way—printed publications. FCIC is the home of USA.gov, the official web portal of the U.S. government, and 1 (800) FED-INFO, the government's information toll-free hotline.
