Bringing Buyers to U.S. Trade Shows

Participate in the International Buyer Program and help your exhibitors increase their international sales.

The International Buyer Program recruits more than 125,000 qualified foreign buyers, sales representatives, and business partners to U.S. trade shows each year, giving your exhibitors excellent opportunities to expand business globally.

If You’re A Trade Show Organizer

As part of the IBP, your trade show is promoted around the world and U.S. Commercial Service Trade Specialists recruit and lead buyer delegations to approximately 35 IBP trade shows.

The 60 day open application period for 2011 trade show is estimated to open in September 2009. Please contact Blanche Ziv, IBP Director, for further information.

If You’re Exhibiting at an IBP Trade Show

Your chances of finding the right international business partner greatly increases at a trade show that’s part of the IBP. You’ll not only meet more buyers, representatives and distributors, but your products and services can be listed in the Export Interest Directory and distributed to all international visitors.

You’ll also benefit from:

Access to hundreds of current international trade leads in your industry

Hands-on export counseling, marketing analysis, and matchmaking services by country and industry experts from the U.S. Commercial Service

Use of an on-site International Business Center, where your company can meet privately with prospective international buyers, prospective sales representatives, and business partners and obtain assistance from our experienced U.S. Commercial Service staff.

View our list of 2009 and 2010 trade shows. The Commercial Service project officer and trade show organizer contact can provide you with additional information on the International Buyer Program and other international sales and marketing initiatives at the show.
