We Know Contractors  We have relationships with a wide range of local vendors and make special efforts to include small, disadvantaged, veteran-owned, woman-owned, and minority-owned businesses as contractors. Working with these companies can improve delivery time and reduce costs. Another service available to our customers is an Expedited Logistics Program (ELP). Our office, in conjunction with the Miami Despatch Agency, has implemented an ELP program similar to the successful program implemented by the European Logistics Support Office (ELSO) and the Regional Procurement Support Office (RPSO) Frankfurt. The program offers an easy, fast, and cost-effective way to acquire commonly used items, such as household appliances and emergency items. We attract the best-qualified contractors by advertising our major solicitations on FedBizOpps.gov, and at posts when qualified local contractors are available.
