DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:   The position is located in the Biological Research Unit of the Grain Marketing and Production Research Center.  The incumbent will conduct research to evaluate efficacy of aerosol insecticides used to control insect pests in flour mills and food warehouses. Research will focus on applied aspects of control, including residual efficacy, impact of sanitation on effectiveness of aerosols, and population structure of resident insect populations in relation to control through aerosol applications.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:   Recent Ph.D. in Entomology or Biology with an emphasis on entomology is required.  Demonstrated field experience in applied entomology and insect pest management is preferred.
