Press Release: Commerce’s NTIA Announces More Than 100 Retailers Certified to Participate in TV Converter Box Coupon Program for Digital Television Transition: The Commerce Department’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) announced today that eight of the largest consumer electronics retailers -- Best Buy, Circuit City, Kmart, RadioShack, Sam's Club, Sears, Target, Wal-Mart -- have been certified to participate in the TV Converter Box Coupon Program along with more than 100 other retailers, representing more than 14,000 stores throughout the nation, and additional Program details.

Commerce’s NTIA Seeks Public Comments Regarding Joint Project Agreement with ICANN: NTIA will consult with interested stakeholders regarding the mid-term review of the Joint Project Agreement (JPA) between the Department and the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). Broadband Over Power Line (BPL) Report, Phase 2: The analyses in the Phase 2 BPL Report expands on the scope of NTIA's Phase 1 analyses and applies the FCC Part 15 rules and measurement guidelines for Access BPL systems. The results of these analyses confirm that the Commission's Access BPL rules, measurement guidelines, and special protection provisions will limit the interference risks for federal radiocommunication systems.
