Office of General Counsel Personal Property Legal Counsel

The Personal Property Division is the primary source of legal advice and litigation support for the Federal Supply Service, the Federal Technology Service, the Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs, the Chief Information Officer, the Office of Governmentwide Policy and other GSA Offices.

Attorneys in the Personal Property Division provide advice on major client initiatives, such as GSA's innovative governmentwide contract for travel, purchase, and fleet card services; GSA's implementation of the comprehensive FTS2001 telecommunications contracts; simplification of the rules for government travel, transportation and employee relocation; and implementation of procurement reform. The division also provides its agency clients with litigation counsel and support in appeals filed at the General Services Administration Board of Contract Appeals, protests filed with the Comptroller General of the United States, telecommunications regulatory cases before the federal and state regulatory bodies, and transportation audit matters.
