Secretary of Agriculture Ed Schafer has appointed a 13-member, producer Board of Directors for the Sorghum Promotion, Research and Information program.

Sorghum scored a major farm bill victory when Congress passed a measure clarifying that uninsured sorghum or other crops planted behind failed first crops will not count against disaster payments. The President has now signed that measure into law. Get the details.
