Avon Foundation Breast Care Fund, The

Mission statement:

The Avon Foundation Breast Care Fund was created by Avon to reach the women most in need of breast cancer screening and treatment services. Through the FUND financial support is made available to community-based programs providing education and outreach to medically underserved women, including low-income, older and minority women. Funding is awarded on a competitive basis to organizations that can successfully implement breast cancer early detection programs that include regular mammography screening, clinical breast examination (CBE), and breast self-examination (BSE) for women 40 and older.
