What Is DRC?

The Department of Transportation's Disability Resource Center (DRC) provides job accommodations and related services to DOT employees and job applicants. The DOT Office of Human Resource Management operates the DRC with guidance from the Departmental Office of Civil Rights. Services are provided to all DOT operating administrations nationwide. DRC also has a service agreement with the U.S. Coast Guard.

Our Mission

The Disability Resource Center supports the Department of Transportation in the employment, advancement, and retention of people with disabilities through the use of state-of-the-art technology and proactive customer services.

Vision

In fulfilling our mission, the Disability Resource Center engages in an inclusive, collaborative process with individuals with disabilities, management, Human Resources, Civil Rights and other key stakeholders to continually improve the delivery of reasonable accommodations and related services.
