Program Description
The Yarmouth Fire Department has been a part of the local High School's work based learning program for over seven years.The Dennis -Yarmouth Regional High School provides Interns who over a semester,learn about the career of Firefighter/EMTs.These students spend a minimum of one hour a day five days a week at the Fire Station.Many become involved in public education as well as other aspects of the fire department . Several have continued their education and become full time firefighters and paramedics.
